Wenn Sie das gew\u00fcnschte Flugzeug nicht finden, fragen Sie gerne par Mail an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Flugleistungsvermessung der Idaflieg reicht viele Jahrzehnte <br>zur\u00fcck. Nat\u00fcrlich haben sich im Laufe der Zeit die Referenzflugzeuge, Vermessungsverfahren und Standards bez\u00fcglich der Dokumentation ge\u00e4ndert. Die Gleitzahlpolare des Discus ist die Basis f\u00fcr die Vermessung, die sogenannte Referenzpolare. Bei dem verwendeten Messverfahren wird die Differenz der Gleitleistung zwischen dem zu vermessenden Flugzeug und dem Referenzflugzeug gemessen. Aus der Differenz und der Referenzpolare ergibt sich dann die absolute Gleitleistung. Derzeit ist die Referenzpolare noch nicht validiert. Im Vergleich mit Messungen gleicher Flugzeuge, die mit der Vorg\u00e4ngerin des Discus, der DG-300 17m, durchgef\u00fchrt wurden, gibt es Unterschiede, deren Herkunft noch nicht abschlie\u00dfend gekl\u00e4rt ist. Die Unterschiede betragen im Durchschnitt aus vier Vergleichen 2,1 Gleitzahlpunkte im Geschwindigkeitsbereich um 120km\/h. Bei allen Flugleistungsvermessungen ab 2012 kann das der Fall sein. Es wird stetig an der Verbesserung des Messverfahrens und an der Beseitigung dieser Unsicherheit gearbeitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>This is the (abbreviated english) version:<\/u><\/strong><br>Available flight performance reports are listed below. Additional donations to support the scientific work of our student group are always welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be aware, that flight performance measurements have been conducted over many decades with different personell and procedures. Measurements with different procedures are not neccessarily comparable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note on flight performance measurements<\/strong><br>Since 2012 the Discus 2c DLR has been used for flight performance measurement. The polar of the Discus 2c DLR is the basis for the measurement, the so-called reference polar. The absolute glide performance of the measured sailplane is calculated from the difference in performance between the two sailplanes and the known performance of the Discus. The reference polar has however not yet been validated. Compared to measurements with the predecessor of the Discus, the DG-300 17m, there are differences in the performance of identical gliders, which cannot be fully explained. These differences average 2,1 glide ratio points (based on four comparisons) at speeds around 120km\/h. This potentially affects all measurements since 2012.
